The STP Sri Hartamas project is a major infrastructure initiative spearheaded by the Kementerian Peralihan Tenaga dan Transformasi Air (PETRA), with the Jabatan Perkhidmatan Pembetungan (JPP) acting as the project director. With a total project cost of RM155,012,250.00, this undertaking will span a duration of 36 months, commencing on 15 September 2024 and expected to be completed by 14 September 2027.
STP Sri Hartamas is Malaysia’s first sewerage treatment plant using advanced Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) technology. Located in Kuala Lumpur, the project is designed to treat municipal wastewater while minimizing environmental impact.
The project is managed by Greenearth Landmark Sdn. Bhd. , with Binastra Builders Sdn. Bhd. appointed as the EPCC contractor. This development is fully endorsed with key regulatory approvals, including the Development Order, Building Plan, Earthworks, Bomba, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), and CIDB, ensuring full compliance with national standards and environmental safeguards.
