This project is delivered through a coordinated structure involving the governing ministry, managing authority, developer, EPCC contractor and specialist consultants.

Project Overview

The Sri Hartamas Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) Redevelopment is a government-approved initiative undertaken to replace the previous facility with a modern, compact and environmentally efficient MBR-based sewage treatment system. The project is led by the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA), with the Jabatan Perkhidmatan Pembetungan (JPP) serving as the managing authority.

GreenEarth Landmark Sdn. Bhd. is appointed as the project developer, with Binastra Builders Sdn. Bhd. engaged as the EPCC contractor. The redevelopment covers Lot 48664 and 48665 in Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur, and is designed to deliver a treatment capacity of 160,000 PE using Membrane Bio-Reactor (MBR) technology.

This upgraded facility aims to enhance environmental performance, improve treatment efficiency and support long-term urban growth for the surrounding communities.

The Sri Hartamas Sewage Treatment Plant Redevelopment is a key infrastructure upgrade designed to modernise the township’s wastewater management system using high-performance Membrane Bio-Reactor (MBR) technology.
